Mailing Service
• Collecting mail and picking up packages and items left at the door
• Picking up mail and packages
• Mailing letters and packages
• Forwarding mail
Grocery Shopping
Grocery shopping and stocking the kitchen before homeowner or guest arrival.
Close Home for
Homeowner / Guest Departure
This service is available to current home watch customers and is in addition to the post-departure visit.
We make a visit upon your departure. This service visit will need to be coordinated with departure, as it is our best practice to close the home before the departure of the homeowner or guest.

Includes turning off the water, turning off the water heater, ensuring outdoor security lights are functioning properly, ensuring that all door and windows are locked, removing all perishable and opened foods from fridge and pantry, emptying and turning off ice maker, placing bottles or bowls of water in fridge and freezer to maintain temperature, making sure all appliances are off, making sure necessary appliances are unplugged, setting thermostat to appropriate setting, storing outdoor furniture and décor.
We recommend combining with the Pre-storm check concierge service for the winter season.
Pre-Storm Check
We visit the property before a winter storm to ensure the home is prepared for the storm.

Includes collecting any packages and deliveries, ensuring outdoor security lights are functioning properly, making sure snow poles are in place, marking anything that can be harmed by snow removal equipment, including irrigation, staircase, walkways, lighting, décor, removing obstructions from driveway and walkways for snow removal, turning on heaters, heat tape and any manual defrosters, setting thermostat to appropriate setting, appropriately storing vehicles in garage, storing outdoor furniture and décor.

We recommend combining with the Close Home for Homeowner Departure concierge service.
Auto Maintenance
Vehicle battery maintainer set up and removal.
Plant Care
We will carefully follow your detailed watering plan.
Trash & Recycling Bins
Place bins out and/or bring bins in.
Open Home for
Homeowner / Guest Departure
This service is available to current home watch customers and is in addition to the pre-arrival visit.

We make a visit upon your arrival. This service visit will need to be coordinated with arrival, as it is our best practice not to open the home in advance of the homeowner's arrival.

Includes turning on the water, turning on water heater, turning on the ice maker, making sure necessary appliances are plugged in, setting the thermostat to the appropriate setting, turning on and checking electronics, setting up outdoor furniture and décor.
Post-Storm Check
We visit the property following a winter storm to verify snow removal, check for ice dams, check snow load on the roof and check for any winter storm damage. After the visit, we will send a post-storm property condition report.
Vendor Key-In
Vendor Key-In is a service where a home watch professional holds a key to a client's home, provides access for service providers (vendors) to perform work and secures the home when they are finished. The Vendor Key-In service provides convenience and security, allowing homeowners to have services performed on their property while they are away. Some common vendor key-in services include maintenance & repairs, heating/cooling systems, plumbing, electrical, painting, renovations, remediation, deliveries, installations, decorators, realtors, pest control, cleaning services and landscaping.

The homeowner contacts us to request a vendor key-in for a specific service. We will help coordinate the visit with the service provider, collecting any necessary information regarding the visit. We will unlock the property for the vendor to perform their scheduled work. We will document the visit with notes and pictures as appropriate. When the work is completed, we will verify the work, lock and secure the property. After the visit, we will send a visit summary.

The homeowner may need to be available before or during the vendor key-in service to talk to the service provider for any information needed.
We offer two options for our Vendor Key-In service:
Vendor Access
We unlock the door to allow the vendor access to the property and return
when they are finished to lock and secure the property.

Vendor Access and Monitoring
We unlock the door to allow the vendor access to the property, stay until they
are finished and then lock and secure the property.
We feel it is very important to hire licensed and insured professional service providers.
We have a preferred vendor list to help connect homeowners with professional service providers if needed. It is the homeowner's responsibility to interview, discuss payment and check the credentials of the service providers being hired. Butterflies & Daydreams Home Watch does not hire and pay any service provider on behalf of the client.
